Kyndryl Opens First U.S. AI Lab at Frisco Station

The Offices Three at Frisco Station

Frisco Station’s business community has a new hub for technology and collaboration with the opening of Kyndryl’s first U.S. AI innovation lab. According to Dallas Innovates, the nearly 5,800-square-foot facility at The Offices Three opened October 1 and could create up to 300 jobs in AI, technology consulting and design engineering over the next four years.

A global provider of IT infrastructure services, Kyndryl will use the lab to help customers explore practical applications for AI, develop working prototypes and create roadmaps for adopting the technology.

The lab “brings customers together with Kyndryl experts to unlock the full value of AI while strengthening America’s innovation ecosystem,” said Jamie Rutledge, president of Kyndryl U.S., in a company statement.

The Frisco facility joins Kyndryl’s global network of AI labs, including locations in the United Kingdom and Luxembourg. In addition to supporting AI development, the lab will showcase the company’s cybersecurity capabilities and house a team developing technology for motor vehicle agencies across the U.S.

The opening brings another dimension to Frisco Station’s growth, complementing its expanding residential offerings, office community and emerging Health and Wellness District with new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
